Choc Protein Breakfast Parfaits

Who said chocolate is only for dessert? These breakfast parfaits are equally decadent as they are nutritious! Packed with protein and power, these parfaits are the perfect start to your day πŸ’ͺ🏼

Ingredients: (makes 2 servings)
Chia Layer
– 1/4 cup of chia seedsΒ 
– 1 cup of almond milk
– 1 tsp of vanilla extract
– 2 melted squares of @beautybarchocolate

Smoothie Layer
– 2 frozen bananas
– 2 scoops of @better.nutrition choc protein powder
– 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
– 2 tbsp of natural peanut butter

Topping
cashew cream yogurt
Granola
Chocolate drizzleΒ 

Directions:
1. Add chia seed ingredients to a mason jar and shake well. Let sit for 5 min then shake vigorously again and put in fridge to set for 4-6 hrs (I like to leave mine overnight).
2. When ready to eat, combine smoothie ingredients in high speed blender
3. Assemble with chia as the base layer, smoothie in the middle, then a little yogurt and granola on top πŸ€—
