Immunity Boosting Breakfast Bowls

With everything going on right now it’s important to make sure your immune system at 100%! Most people turn to orange juice and Vitamin C when they’re sick or trying to stay healthy but turmeric and ginger are like superpower ingredients when it comes to staying healthy. Even if you’re not feeling sick, these super power smoothies are delicious any day of the week! 🍊

I’ve used both collagen peptides and protein powder in this smoothie recipe, but I love adding @better.nutrition labs vanilla protein powder for a post workout treat!
Ingredients: – 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
– 1/2 cup of fresh mango chunks (about 5-6 chunks) – 1/2 frozen banana
– 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple (6 chunks)
– pinch of grated ginger (can add more depending on taste pref)
– 1-2 tsp of tumeric (depending on preference)
– 1 scoop of @better.nutrition protein powder – juice of 1/2 a large orange (about 1/3 cup)
– 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
Toppings:
– coconut yogurt
– granola
– chia seeds
– hemp seeds – raw chopped nuts
Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender until smooth
2. Add extra almond milk or juice if you want a thinner consistency like a smoothie
3. You can substitute additional fruits or toppings depending on what you have available
