Sweet Potato Fries
The weekend calls for a burger night, and whether it be a veggie or beef one, these baked sweet potato fries are the perfect pairing for every meal! Plus they’re so easy to make!• Baking them makes them a much healthier but still delicious 😋 • Sweet potatoes are a great source of fiber and for that reason are a far better option than regular white potatoes (especially if you have diabetes or are trying to watch your blood sugars)• Ingredients:
– 2 med sweet potatoes – 1-2 tbsp of olive oil (more olive oil=crispier fries)
– 1 tsp of garlic powder
– 1 tsp of onion powder
– 1 tsp of sea salt
– 1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2. Peel sweet potatoes or wash them if you like to leave the skin on
3. Cut into 1/8” slices like fries
4. Place in bowl and add olive oil and spices. Make sure all fries are completely coated
5. Line fries on foil-lined baking sheet
6. Bake for 15 min then remove from oven and flip fries
7. Place back in oven and turn oven temp to 425 and cook for another 10-15 min
